    Asharqia Chamber and the "Saudi Bar Association​" agree to develop professional practice and empower the legal sector to serve the business sector


    Asharqia Chamber and the Saudi Bar Association concluded a cooperation agreement, to define the frameworks and ways of cooperation between the two parties on developing professional practice and empowering the legal sector and the work of lawyers to serve the business sector and related activities.

    The agreement was signed by the Chamber’s Secretary-General, Abdul Rahman Al-Wabil, and the General Supervisor of the General Secretariat of the Authority, Dr. Alaa Naji, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, the Chairman of the Lawyers’ Committee in the Eastern Region, Lawyer Khaled Al-Saleh, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Lawyer Sabah Al-Marri, and the Assistant Secretary-General of the Authority, Dr. Marwan Al-Roqi.

    The agreement, which was signed on Sunday (20/6/2021) at the headquarters of the Asharqia Chamber in Dammam, affirmed the "cooperation of the two parties in supporting the business sector and providing professional services through the lawyers' committees affiliated with the authority, and holding periodic meetings between representatives of the two parties, to review joint programs and areas of work.
    The agreement touched on several activities that the two parties intend to implement to achieve the goals of the agreement, including the establishment of specialized training programs on topics related to the regulations that the authority is specialized in coordination with the Chamber, and holding awareness events (seminars, forums, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, etc.) to spread knowledge and culture. Legal.
    The two parties agreed on the necessity of setting up a mechanism to receive the proposals of businessmen and the business sector regarding the difficulties they face concerning the rules and regulations.​
